Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2025

EcommerceBoost ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: email address when you create an account, and store URLs when you run an audit. We also collect usage data such as pages visited and features used to improve our service.

Merchant Audit Privacy

EcommerceBoost does not require Shopify admin access, WooCommerce credentials, payment data, customer lists, order history, or private analytics. Store audits are based on public storefront signals that are visible to a normal browser or crawler.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide, maintain, and improve our service; to process payments via Stripe; to send you technical notices and support messages; and to communicate with you about your account.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share anonymized, aggregated audit scores on the public leaderboard. Payment processing is handled by Stripe โ€” we never store credit card details.

Public leaderboard publishing is optional. Private reports are available, and users can disable public score publishing before running an audit.

GDPR and Merchant Rights

If you are located in the EU/EEA or otherwise covered by GDPR-style privacy rights, you can request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal data associated with your EcommerceBoost account. Contact us for privacy requests and we will respond according to applicable legal requirements.

4. Data Retention

We retain your audit results and account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
